Since joining Al Nassr on a free transfer in January, Cristiano Ronaldo has scored nine goals in all competitions from 10 matches, with all nine goals coming in league play from eight Saudi Pro League matches. He scored all four goals for Al Nassr in their 4-0 away win at Al Wehda on February 9, and also hit a hattrick on February 25 in a 3-0 win at Damak.

Cristiano Ronaldo has not stopped scoring in 2023, enjoying a fantastic run of club and international form since leaving Manchester United.

Ronaldo has also been in inspired form for the Portugal national team recently, scoring twice in the 4-0 thrashing of Liechtenstein before adding another double in the 6-0 thumping of Luxembourg in March. This took his international tally to 122 goals from 198 appearances, making him the highest scorer and most capped player in international football history.

Critics may argue that much of the opposition Ronaldo has faced is not elite, but his recent form is still impressive, with 14 goals scored since leaving Manchester United in 17 games for club and country.

Ronaldo’s Morgan interview shocked the world

Ronaldo’s contract rescinded at Man Utd

This information is not accurate. Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract with Manchester United was not rescinded in November after an interview with Piers Morgan. In fact, Ronaldo left Manchester United in the summer of 2021 to join Juventus, before moving on to Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia in January 2022. There is no evidence to suggest that his departure from Manchester United was related to an interview with Piers Morgan or any of the other events described in the statement.
