Cristiano Ronaldo and Curtis Jones got into a fight at the end of the first half of their Premier League game. This made the Liverpool players and Jurgen Klopp angry.

Referee Anthony Taylor gave Ronaldo a yellow card for the incident, but players on the other team said it could have easily been a red. Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson, both defenders for Liverpool, were angry about what happened. After it happened, Robertson pointed in Ronaldo’s face.
Jones was clearly upset about what happened, and he was in pain as he lay on the ground after the ball hit him from so close.
His manager, Jurgen Klopp, was also very angry about what happened. He had a long, animated talk with the fourth official about it. Gary Neville, a former United defender who was talking about the game for Sky Sports, said, “His head’s gone here.”
Ronaldo let his anger get the best of him as United’s rivalsblew them out of the water at Old Trafford.
Mohamed Salah scored a hat-trick for Klopp’s hard-working team, and United had no answer. At halftime, United was down 4-0. In the second half, United’s lack of discipline showed up again when Paul Pogba, who came on as a replacement at halftime, was sent off in the 59th minute.
The France international player got a yellow card for a late, studs-up tackle on Naby Keita, who then had to be carried off the field on a stretcher.
The VAR told referee Taylor to check his monitor on the field, and when he did, he made the right choice to change the decision from a yellow card to a red card.
