In Season 18 of Sister Wives, Meri Brown moved to Utah after Kody Brown expressed that he wanted her gone and claimed that he never loved her. However, Jenelle and Christine Brown’s revelations seem to contradict Kody’s statements. These revelations came as Meri contemplated her place within the family after feeling like she was in “limbo land” for a long time.

Kody Brown made some hurtful remarks about Meri, including claiming that she tricked him into marriage and stating that he never loved her. The lack of intimacy between them for over ten years made it clear to Meri that the love he once had for her was gone. Meri reflected that Kody used to be a “happy-go-lucky” person but had changed over time.

However, in a preview aired on Facebook, Christine and Jenelle shared their perspectives on Kody and Meri’s relationship. Christine mentioned that nobody would enter into a marriage if it already looked bad, emphasizing that she saw nothing indicating a loveless relationship. She described Kody as “incredibly charming” with Meri, and their interactions seemed nice to everyone around them. Similarly, Jenelle felt that Kody and Meri appeared solid, and she believed that the existing relationships within a plural marriage should be managed well before adding new ones.

Both Christine and Jenelle did not see any major issues in Kody and Meri’s relationship and were attracted to the positive aspects they witnessed. The implication is that things were generally good within the Sister Wives family before Robyn arrived.

These revelations suggest that Kody’s claims about never loving Meri may not accurately reflect the dynamic between them during their earlier years. The differing perspectives from Christine and Jenelle provide a different viewpoint on the state of Kody and Meri’s relationship before the family dynamics shifted.
