Nervously, Ken starts by saying, “Umm, you know I have spare bedrooms, and you’re more than welcome to move into one of those.” They continue their conversation while maintaining eye contact. Ken goes on to suggest that he can provide financial assistance until Kim gets back on her feet. Kim, showing appreciation, softly plays with his hair and smiles, still maintaining eye contact. She responds with a simple “Wow.” Sensing her emotions, Ken adds, “It’s not something you have to answer right now. But it’s something I’d like you to think about.” Kim agrees, saying, “Yeah, yeah, well.”
In her confessional interview, Kim expresses her surprise at Ken’s suggestion of her moving in.
