Fans of ‘7 Little Johnstons’ have long believed that if one of Trent Johnston’s daughters became pregnant, he would insist on a quick marriage with the baby’s father. Speculation began when the TLC star had a conversation with Elizabeth “Liz” Johnston in 2020, shortly after she and Brice engaged in some PDA in the family home.

Fans of TLC always sensed that Liz Johnston’s boyfriend was somewhat intimidated by her father. In August 2022, Brice and Liz had a sit-down discussion with her parents, and Brice admitted feeling a bit “scared” beforehand. Liz, on the other hand, discussed contraception, and Brice assured her father of his honorable intentions.

Despite the talks and numerous awkward moments with Amber and Trent Johnston, Liz Johnston became pregnant. In the TLC show, she revealed that after they reconciled following a breakup, they had a moment of intimacy that resulted in her pregnancy. Once again, in Season 14, Brice appeared terrified when the time came to reveal their secret to the 7 Little Johnstons patriarch. This led fans to immediately assume that they would have to rush into marriage.

When fans saw photos from the baby shower last year, some suspected that the outfit changes hinted at a wedding ceremony taking place after the shower. Since then, there have been further suspicions that Brice and Liz Johnston might have already tied the knot. In early June, TLC fans discussed Liz’s inconsistent wearing of a ring, at times on different fingers, which may have been a deliberate misdirection. Given Liz’s previous deception about her pregnancy for 21 weeks, ‘7 Little Johnstons’ fans are convinced that they are already married.

However, Trent Johnston recently claimed that they are not yet married. In a recent episode, he discussed when his daughter’s wedding might happen. It’s important to note that filming occurs well in advance of when fans see the final product. He mentioned the possibility of a wedding in two years. In his confessional, he expressed his hopes for their relationship and the potential for a wedding, whether it be next year or two years from now, envisioning their two-year-old daughter Leighton as the flower girl standing between her parents.
