After a long hiatus, OutDaughtered returned to the screens, showcasing the Busby quints as they had grown older. While the quints have certainly matured, they continue to provide viewers with incredibly cute moments. Recently, TLC shared a memorable clip featuring one of the quints expressing a desire to become a vegetarian. Read on to discover who it was and the reason behind this adorable mix-up.

Season 8 concluded in May 2021, and viewers had to wait patiently to see the Busby quints, along with Blayke and their parents, on TLC again. The family took a hiatus, allowing the quints to grow, and fans finally caught a glimpse of them in 2023, now at the age of eight. As the quints recently celebrated their ninth birthday, it’s no surprise that they have changed significantly since the end of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In Season 10, OutDaughtered fans witnessed the girls facing challenges with reading. Their mom, Danielle Busby, realized that she couldn’t dedicate as much time as needed to each child’s learning journey. With five children at different stages of learning, providing assistance with reading and homework became quite difficult for Danielle. She suggested seeking some outside help, which led to a heated argument with Adam. Some viewers criticized the show for evoking tones reminiscent of the contentious Jon and Kate Plus 8. However, the adorable moments featuring the quintuplets continue to captivate audiences.

Over the weekend, TLC shared a clip on Instagram featuring the Busby Quints engaging in a conversation with a producer. In the video, the girls were given the option to choose between being a “vegetarian” or a “cheerleader.” It was Hazel Busby who easily chimed in, saying, “I want to be a cheerleader when I grow up.” Following her, Ava Busby, the twin of Olivia, expressed her desire to become a “vegetarian.”

So, why did Ava want to be a “vegetarian”? It turned out that she misunderstood the term. When asked about her choice, she replied, “Because you get puppies.” Of course, Parker Kate corrected her sister, explaining that it should be a “veterinarian” rather than a “vegetarian.” And, as always, the precocious Riley had her own input on the matter.

While the post didn’t receive as many comments as previous ones about the Busby quints, which would typically garner thousands of responses, some viewers couldn’t help but point out the misunderstanding. One TLC fan humorously wrote, “Baby, it’s veterinarian, not vegetarian 😂.” However, others expressed their concerns that the pressures of reality TV might negatively impact Danielle and Adam Busby’s marriage.

A commenter shared their thoughts:

“Give them a big big big ole check and let this family go! Not one family that comes on TLC survives. Jon and Kate, Little People Big World, Derrico, almost every couple on 90 Day Fiancé, Sister Wives…”
