Manchester United’s first-team squad is reportedly set for a significant overhaul this summer, with manager Erik ten Hag looking to cull as many as 13 players from the club’s ranks.

The Dutchman, who took charge of United last summer after leaving Ajax, has ambitious plans in the transfer window, but the club’s recent takeover has left him uncertain about how much money he will have to spend. Consequently, he is set to clear out players and free up funds for new signings. According to the Manchester Evening News, as many as eight players could be sold, while another five will be released at the end of their contracts.

Among those set to leave are Northern Ireland international Ethan GalbraithAxel TuanzebePhil Jones, Ondrej Mastny and Charlie Wellens.
