Fans Fear They Will “Never Unsee” Haaland’s Calvin Klein Photoshoot with Noel Gallagher
Manchester City celebrated their 4-1 win against Arsenal, with striker Erling Haaland rounding off the decisive victory with his 49th goal of the term.
However, despite the win, Haaland faced criticism for what some called “one of the worst photos of all time.”
The prolific goal scorer posed in his Calvin Klein underwear alongside fully dressed Oasis singer and super-fan Gallagher. City are now just two points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal with two games in hand, but some fans were more stunned by Haaland’s near-naked image than the Gunners’ defense had been by City’s peppering of their goal at the Etihad.
Gallagher did his best to distract attention from the photo by trolling pundit Jamie Carragher in an interview. Carragher suggested that Haaland might not be as snug a fit for City’s tactics as his Y-fronts are, to which Gallagher replied, “Well, it’s a good job nobody listens to him, isn’t it?”
Despite the photo controversy, Haaland showed flashes of genius against the Gunners, delighting City fans.
