Welcome to Plathville fans will have the opportunity to get to know Olivia Plath’s brother, Nathan Meggs, better in Season 5 of the show. Nathan first appeared in Season 4 and has now returned for more excitement and drama.
In the Season 5 premiere, Nathan is seen at the home he shares with Ethan and Olivia. Previously, Moriah Plath lived in that home, but she left while Ethan and Olivia were in Europe. Nathan and Ethan reconnect and bond over their motorcycles, although fans didn’t see much of Nathan in the premiere. Since he is living with Ethan and Olivia, fans can expect to see more of him as the season progresses.
Olivia Plath is one of nine siblings, including Micah, Elijah, Joshua, Elise, Lydia, Sophia, Nathan, Carris, and Kristen. Tragically, Olivia and Nathan lost their younger brother Micah in May. He was involved in a fatal accident while riding his bike at just 15 years old. Olivia has opened up about this heartbreaking loss on social media, and it may be addressed in the current season if filming was not yet completed at the time.
Nathan’s introduction to fans in Season 4 showcased him as an 18-year-old who had graduated and moved out of his parents’ home to live with Ethan and Olivia in Tampa. Fans enjoyed getting to know him as one of Olivia’s siblings.
However, living on his own led to legal trouble for Nathan. He faced a DUI charge in March 2022 but initially pleaded not guilty. Eventually, he changed his plea to no contest, and the charges were reduced to reckless driving.
Fans can expect to learn more about Nathan throughout the current season of Welcome to Plathville. In the season preview, he is seen receiving a makeover from his sisters, Olivia Plath and Lydia Meggs. While Nathan does have an Instagram page, it is currently private, but he may consider going public if he gains more attention during this season.
